Brianne West, CEO and Founder, launched Ethique in her kitchen in 2012, when she started experimenting with solid shampoo bars. Today, Ethique boasts a diverse range of over 100 products.

We create conscious and concentrated haircare, skincare, body care, and more products to make transitioning from plastic bottles easier. All our products are 100% plastic-free, certified vegan, cruelty-free, and palm-oil free. Additionally, our packaging is entirely plastic-free.

Our Mission

Our mission is to revolutionize the cosmetics industry and regenerate our planet through ethical business practices. Helping to eliminate single-use plastic bottles is just one part of this endeavor.

Regeneration

As of 2021, we have saved over 20 million single-use plastic bottles from being produced or disposed of in landfills worldwide, conserved more than 3 million gallons of water, and planted over 350,000 trees. This is merely the beginning of our sustainability journey.

Product Description: Focus on Sustainability

Small changes in product size and weight can lead to lower carbon emissions. We created the Compact by Design initiative to identify products that, while they may not appear significantly different, have a more efficient design.

By removing excess air and water, our products require less packaging and become more efficient to ship. At scale, these minor differences in product size and weight result in significant reductions in carbon emissions.
